Valassis Communications said yesterday it formed a joint venture with the marketing information unit of Netherlands-based VNU N.V., A.A. Harlem, The Netherlands.
Financial terms of the deal were not announced, but Valassis, Livonia, MI, said the unnamed venture will use frequent shopper dates to deliver targeted consumer direct mail and e-mail for grocery retailers and consumer packaged goods customers.
