USPS Expands Service Access

The USPS said that 250 Mail Boxes Etc. centers in metropolitan areas nationwide will begin a test in November to offer certified mail, insurance and Priority Mail, Express Mail and Parcel Post products.

“We are trying to make it easier for the American public to do business with us,” said Allan Kane, chief marketing officer at the USPS.

The services will benefit small business owners who are strapped for time and resources and customers who spend more time in the office than they would like, the postal service said. The test will begin in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
