U.S. Online Hispanics Outnumber Global Spanish-Speaking Net Users

The U.S. Hispanic online population, which is one-third of the total Hispanic headcount countrywide, is 11 percent larger than the online population of Spain, according to Internet behavioral measurement firm comScore Networks.

U.S. online Hispanics are also 4 percent larger than the total online population of Mexico, Argentina and Columbia combined.

According to comScore, there are 12.39 million active users among U.S. Hispanic populations at home, work and university locations of users over two years.

By contrast, Spain has 11.14 million Internet users, Mexico 7.17 million, Argentina 3.21 million and Colombia 1.58 million.

The data were based on a comScore Media Metric panel of more than 50,000 Hispanic Internet users.
