Wireless communications provider Triton PCS has renewed a contract with Convergys for customer care for three years, Convergys said yesterday.
Convergys, Cincinnati, will continue to supplement Triton's customer care facilities in Richmond, VA, and Charleston, SC, during periods of peak inbound call volume. The value of the contract extension was not disclosed.
Triton has 860,000 subscribers and offers SunCom digital wireless service in 37 markets. Convergys has worked for Triton since 1998 and also provides billing services for the wireless company.
Covergys customer contact agents help Triton customers with new account activations and change of address requests, as well as perform credit checks and other inbound customer service activities.
