Transora yesterday launched Data Catalogue, a one-stop repository of product information designed to allow manufacturers and retailers to synchronize product information online as well as to eliminate order and invoice errors and associated costly rework.
Transora said its Data Catalogue lets manufacturers load hundreds of product attributes ranging from nutritional information to package size, in addition to electronic product images.
The company said the application is based on a standard platform from i2 Technologies tailored to the consumer packaged goods industry. The technology is scalable, allowing manufacturers to store all relevant information about their products in a format that retailers can synchronize with their existing computer systems.
