Logistics company From2.com. yesterday announced an agreement that its software will be used by computer retail firm TigerDirect Inc. — to offer online price quotes and guaranteed delivery times for international shipping.
As part of the agreement, TigerDirect’s Web site, www.tigerdirect.com, will offer its rates for freight, insurance, duties and taxes, with guaranteed, on-time delivery of its computers, monitors and other digitally-based accessories. TigerDirect, Miami, FL, says the software allows it to offer its targeted Latin American business market lower prices and faster service. In addition, From2.com, Miami, FL, says its system expands business and consumer markets internationally because of its guaranteed delivery time.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
