TheBeatles.com, the official Web site of the defunct pop group, is expected to launch today in conjunction with the compact disc release of the band's 27 No. 1 hits.
The fan site will only be up for a limited time. TheBeatles.com will include features such as 24 original promotional films, images of single sleeves and pop charts from various dates.
Other channels include:
• Get Back, an animated recreation of the Beatles' rooftop performance in England. This channel also allows viewers to watch the band's last-ever performance on video.
• I Wanna Hold Your Hand, a short video documentary of the group's session in Studio 2 at Abbey Road studios.
• Help, where participants can assist each other in finding musical instruments.
• Day Tripper, which features psychedelic visuals such as kaleidoscopic effects.
The site had been under construction for nearly a year, as Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Yoko Ono Lennon reportedly collaborated on the project.
