Priceline.com leads the online travel market in three prominent categories, according to recent poll results by market research firm Harris Interactive.
Harris, Rochester, NY, ranks Priceline first in brand recognition, traffic and revenue among online travel firms in an Internet survey that sampled 97,000 users.
However, the poll said that the reverse auction site has experienced a recent decline in customer satisfaction, and its scores have dipped since the beginning of the year. Priceline, Norwalk, CT, ranks third among its market sector in this category, behind Southwest.com and Travelzoo.com.
