Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), a subsidiary of Publicis Groupe, has formed a new global management team to accelerate business development and talent across its global network.
Developed by CEO Laura Desmond, the team consists of 10 executive leaders from throughout the organization who will join SMG’s president of global operations Andrew Swin and chief digital officer Sean Finnegan.
“We are aggressively pursuing a platform that we call ‘Agency of the future,’ which is built on the understanding that in the future, we will need to be in the business of managing human experiences, not just media or channels of communication,” Desmond said.
She added that a “21st-century model” requires more open collaboration across partners and demands fluidity across geographies and companies.
The team will meet in person twice every quarter.
