St. Clare's Health Services has picked The Beryl Cos. to provide outsourced call center services for its system of four hospitals in New Jersey.
Beryl will provide physician referrals to healthcare consumers in the service areas of St. Clare's hospitals in Denville, Dover, Boonton and Sussex. Call center agents will provide consumers who call a toll-free hotline with information about physicians in their area and will match insurance coverage preferences, doctor specialties and locations with consumers' needs.
The agents can connect consumers directly to a recommended physician's office to help them set up an initial appointment. Beryl call centers also will provide Web-based customer contact services for St. Clare's.
Beryl provides telephone-based customer relationship management for healthcare organizations across the country. It maintains a 50,000-square-foot call center in Dallas.
