Sports & Health Clubs, Washington, the capital's leading chain of gyms, appointed Wilson/Rusch, New York, as its direct marketing agency.
Three agencies sought the account, including incumbent Bomstein, Washington. Billings were not disclosed.
“The mandate really is to push new-member acquisitions,” said David Wilson, president of the year-old Wilson/Rusch.
The agency will handle creative and media across broadcast, out-of-home, direct mail and online marketing tactics. It will help Sports & Health Clubs reposition its brand.
This win follows new accounts like Intuit, Robert Mondavi and Advanta.
