SpireMedia Snares Web Design Business

SpireMedia Inc., a Web application development agency, won online business from Breckenridge Ski Resort, United Agri Products and Great-West Life's Great-West Healthcare division.

The Denver agency competed with internal teams in all cases.

For Breckenridge, SpireMedia is to build an interactive, Web-based application to map out trails at the ski resort in Breckenridge, CO. Services include Flash development, graphic design and Web programming.

“Breckenridge is in need of a new format to educate consumers on all of the terrain available at their resort,” said Mike Gellman, CEO of SpireMedia.

For United Agri Products, the agency will design and develop a site for the client's Dyna-Gro Seed product line and work on Web strategy. The aim is to help the client find a way to market its new line on the Internet.

Great-West Healthcare, like the other new accounts, sought SpireMedia's help in creating the division's Web site and its unsecured member portal. The agency will provide information architecture, application development, Web design and user testing.

“Great-West Healthcare purchased One Health Plan in Colorado and must improve upon its main Web site and its member portal,” Gellman said.

SpireMedia launched in 1998. Clients include A&E Television Networks, CBS' “Late Show with David Letterman,” Qwest Communications, Morgan Stanley, Western Union and skiwear maker Spyder Active Sports.
