SmartEnergy.com Debuts Utility Service

SmartEnergy.com, Boston, announced a new service late February that allows New York energy customers direct access to their energy bills and consumption data online, 24 hours a day, along with a rewards program for energy use.

Customers can sign up with SmartEnergy.com through its Web site, www.smartenergy.com, and within 30 days will be billed directly for their energy services by the company – which will continue to be maintained by New York’s local utility, Con Edison.

To promote the service, it plans both an offline direct marketing campaign and online campaign aimed at small businesses and New York residents.
