Healthcare information solutions provider SK&A Information Services has released Provider HealthNet, a search tool that allows online access to a database of more than 2 million healthcare practitioners and decision-makers.
The announcement was made in New Orleans this week during the HIMSS Annual Healthcare Conference & Exhibition.
In beta last year with more than a dozen SK&A clients, Provider HealthNet is a portal to a large and accurate relational database of practicing healthcare professionals, with more than 610,000 practicing physicians. Phone-verified by Irvine-CA-based SK&A every six months, the database also includes pharmacists, dentists, nurses, PA’s and hospital decision-makers.
Provider HealthNet facilitates robust search for quick access to contact information such as name and address, phone and fax, job titles, specialties, affiliations, license numbers, DEA numbers and more.
Besides viewing or updating sales accounts, Provider HealthNet also can be used to confirm mailing addresses and phone numbers, recruit professionals for seminars, look up Drug Enforcement Administration numbers and other identifiers. It also can search for job candidates, identify the affiliations of a medical group, health system, hospital or physician. Search results are saved and downloaded to Excel.
Provider HealthNet also allows integration for Web developers who want a hosted solution under their private label, and licensing can be structured for flexible single- or multiple-user options.
Provider HealthNet is a multi-tier application that quickly delivers the requested information in the format and location where it’s needed. The Web portal is based on Microsoft’s .NET technology, its application is written using ASP and C# development language, and it uses Microsoft’s SQL Server backend.
