Sir Speedy Launches Localized E-Commerce Initiative

Sir Speedy, a print company with more than 700 stores, recently launched its e-commerce Web site where registered business customers are given secured personal Web pages to place and keep track of orders.

Companies can register for the firm’s various print services by visiting the corporate site, SirSpeedy.com, where visitors are encouraged to use a ZIP code search to find the nearest location. At the Web site, businesses can fill out an application and get a customer identification number for their Web pages.

Registered customers can request quotes, place reorders, transmit files, get tips on graphic design, and choose to have their orders picked up or delivered. A company also can request an on-location visit from a local Sir Speedy project manager.

The Web pages most likely will attract businesses that need regular allotments of business cards, letterhead, direct mail pieces and other items, said Chuck White, vice president of advertising and franchisee marketing at Sir Speedy, Mission Viejo, CA.
