Information provider Revnet Systems, Huntsville, AL, announced the release of UnityMail Version 2.1, a database-enabled e-mail list manager for Windows NT. Revnet said UnityMail can be used by corporations or organizations that are looking to deliver targeted, measurable e-mail campaigns to support their marketing, customer relations, support and other communication tasks.
New features will allow users to deliver focused information from a database, join and unjoin e-mail lists from the Web and update demographic and other information in the database. UnityMail uses filters to allow a user to target a specific portion of a mailing list. This gives users the ability to send e-mail to customers whose ZIP codes are within driving distance of the hotel where a seminar will be held, send e-mail to customers with a contract renewal in an upcoming time period and send e-mail to every 10th person. Subscribers can use Web forms to allow them to log in and update their own subscriber information from the Web. The system supports sign-up forms for multiple lists and unsubscribe forms for single or multiple user lists. UnityMail 2.1 is currently available with prices beginning at $3,995.
