The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi on a new social media and marketing initiative that reaches across the globe.
The new campaign, which will run for three years, helps address global humanitarian challenges and encourages global citizens to take action at a local level. The ‘Our world. Your move.’ Campaign, which launches on May 8 which is also World Red Cross Red Crescent Day, is centered around a social media site at www.ourworldyourmove.org.
The site calls citizens to help and to share their experiences. The site will include this user-generated content, along with blogs in 8 different languages including: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. All aspects of the online campaign are aimed at engaging users in a dialogue with the Red Cross Red Crescent.
Saatchi will work with Red Cross Red Crescent Societies at the local level to create a strategy for reaching new audiences across cultures and languages throughout the life of the campaign.
