PeopleSoft Inc., Pleasanton, CA, announced last week it has agreed to buy Annuncio Software Inc.
The acquisition–subject the approval of Annuncio's stockholders– is scheduled to close during the first quarter of 2002.
The addition of Mountain View, CA-based Annuncio's marketing automation product for e-mail and Web customer interaction to PeopleSoft's CRM offering “will give PeopleSoft customers the ability to execute marketing campaigns utilizing online dialog and Web site marketing to maintain real-time personalized conversations with customers,” the company said in a statement.
