Pegasus Systems, Dallas, an e-commerce solutions provider for hotels, said it will power seven more hotel Web sites with its booking functionality. The sites will accept real-time hotel reservations from consumers worldwide. The participating hotel company's Web site also gains access to the hotel's central reservation system, providing it with real-time rates, availability and booking capabilities. The seven new sites represent more than 4,400 hotels.
The sites are: Best Western Hotels, Destination Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, La Quinta Inns and Suites, Prime Hospitality's AmeriSuites, W Hotels and Westin Hotels and Resorts. This brings the number of hotel chain Web sites working with Pegasus to 24.
