Adding to a recent series of deals with entertainment firms, Ticketmaster has partnered with National Car Rental for the ticket services firm's Print My Own technology.
Viewers at www.nationalcar.com and www.ticketmaster.com will be able to buy and print barcoded tickets for admission to upcoming events, such as concerts by Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews, Aaron Carter and Madonna.
The technology is designed to lower event organizers' print production cost, according to Ticketmaster, Los Angeles. Financial terms of the agreement between National Car Rental, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Ticketmaster were not disclosed.
Ticketmaster also has signed deals for the Print My Own technology this year with sports/concert venues such as the Rose Garden in Portland, OR, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
