Names in the News Acquires Pacific Lists

Names in the News Inc. has acquired Pacific Lists, Corte Madera, CA.

The companies claim to have the same values, ethics and commitment to the nonprofit community and clients involved in social and cultural issues and concerns.

Names in the News, Oakland, CA, will be expanding its services in the personal health, self-improvement, education and cultural markets as a result of the acquisition.

Pacific Lists’ clients now will have the analytic services that Names in the News has to offer along with proprietary online interactive planning and modeling tools.

Pacific Lists has been providing list brokerage and list management services since 1974. Its client base includes fundraisers, book publishers, magazines, catalogues and conferences. The company will retain its name, location and staff.

Names in the News was founded in 1969 by the late Richard Hammond, who changed the way nonprofit organizations raise money.
