Lifestyle management Web site MyEvents.com Monday said it will debut Event Planner, a free online service that helps organizers create Internet invitations and electronically collect any fees associated with an event.
Invitations will be able to include driving instructions, updated weather reports and party fees. With the service, organizers can also create an online bank to bill invitees for expenses such as tickets, food and beverages. MyEvents.com, San Francisco, said the program will further enhance its community of users – mostly young women that often join clubs at the Web site.
