Multiactive Software, a developer of unified customer relationship management and e-business software,said yesterday it has optimized its Entice software to work with BlackBerry wireless hand-held devices from Research in Motion.
The two companies' technologies will combine to allow businesspeople to access and update customer information directly in a corporate database from anywhere in real time. The agreement makes Entice a complete mid-market CRM application optimized for RIM's BlackBerry devices, Multiactive, Vancouver, British Columbia, said.
Entice 2.5 provides mobile commerce and CRM tools, including account and sales opportunity management, scheduling and document delivery, that are accessible through a wireless device. The software also includes a customizable personal portal that allows users to view the information in their corporate Entice database that is most relevant, including key performance indicators.
By using Entice's One-to-One Designer application, users also can create their own wireless markup language projects, including integration with third-party systems such as inventory and order management, that can be viewed on a wireless device such as BlackBerry.
