MSN yesterday made ESPN.com the Internet service provider's only sports news source.
“Sports by ESPN.com” is now one of 12 news channels appearing in the left-hand column at www.msn.com. Clicking through brings viewers to ESPN.com's new home page, which now includes the MSN brand appearing at the top, along with a link that can take a viewer to the MSN home page and its e-mail services.
In addition, ESPN.com news will eventually be rolled into MSN's mobile content offering as well.
Terms of the deal between MSN, part of Microsoft Corp., Redmond, WA, and ESPN.com, Seattle, were not disclosed.
