Moosejaw Mountaineering and Backcountry Travel Inc. has selected Newgistics' SmartLabel service to provide a returns process for its catalog and online shoppers, the company said yesterday.
Newgistics lets Moosejaw's customers detach the pre-addressed, bar-coded SmartLabel from their order summary, affix it to their package and drop it off anywhere in the U.S. Postal Service system. Newgistics intercepts the package, scans the SmartLabel barcode and provides Moosejaw with details about what is being returned, including customer comments and tracking information.
