NCR Corp. said last week that Mohegan Sun, a casino and entertainment destinations owned by the Mohegan Tribe, is implementing a new data warehousing and customer relationship management solutions from its Teradata division.
Mohegan Sun, Hartford, is installing Teradata Warehouse, Gaming Logical Data Model, Teradata Warehouse Miner 2.0, Teradata Relationship Manager Version 6 and a series of other applications and services. It expects to be in production with the new system in the first quarter of 2006.
In addition to the data warehouse and the customer relationship solutions, Mohegan Sun is also purchasing Teradata Professional Services, education and training services and implementation services.
Last week, Teradata also announced the shipment of Teradata Warehouse 8.1, a suite of software, hardware and consulting services, with new capabilities that the company said make it easier to build and manage the next generation of active data warehouses that drive enterprise intelligence throughout an organization.
