Miva Founder, President Resign

The two top executives at pay-per-performance marketing firm Miva, Fort Myers, FL, resigned last week.

Craig Pisaris-Henderson, the founder and chairman/CEO, and president Phillip Thune each resigned. Though Miva would not say why the two executives resigned, the company tapped Deutsche Bank Securities earlier this year to help the online network explore a possible sale or merger.

Miva's board of directors selected chief operating officer Peter A. Corrao to succeed Pisaris-Henderson as CEO. Larry Weber, a director on the Miva board, has assumed the position of non-executive chairman.

Seb Bishop, chief marketing officer, was named president and also will retain his CMO duties.
