A United Arab Emirates daily tabloid called 7 Days last week became the first Middle East-based newspaper to apply for membership in BPA Worldwide.
Published by 7Days Publishing, the newspaper mixes news, sports, business and features six mornings each week. The target is the urban, professional reader.
BPA, Shelton, CT, an auditor of trade and consumer publications, will help validate the circulation claims made by 7 Days.
It is auditing several Middle Eastern magazines, including Dubai-based ITP’s Windows User (English and Arabic editions), Channel Middle East (English and Arabic), Aviation Business and Construction Week. BPA also audits Abu Dhabi-based Gulf Exhibition Corp.’s Gulf Defence Magazine and Motivate Publishing’s What’s On.
