MeritDirect, White Plains, NY, announced a licensing agreement with Ruf Strategic Solutions yesterday for use of Ruf's proprietary business cluster technology in its MeritBase business-to-business cooperative database.
Ruf Business Clusters provide a segmentation system for BTB target marketing analysis through using demographic, census and proprietary econometric data. The clusters are used to profile and segment customer data and select targeted prospects.
MeritBase consists of data from 25 million sites and 50 million unique contacts from 900 BTB lists.
