MeritDirect, White Plains, NY, said it was named list manager yesterday for the Questex Media Group postal and e-mail list properties formerly owned by Advanstar Communications.
The newly formed Questex Media Group, Newton, MA, announced that it would acquire five divisions of Advanstar in April including its technology, travel, portfolio, beauty and home entertainment groups. Questex's properties include more than 20 trade publications, 50 Web sites and 25 conferences and trade shows.
Its publications include American Salon, American Spa, America's Network, Cadalyst, Customer Interface, Frontline Solutions, Geospatial Solutions, GPS World, Golfdom, Hotel & Motel Management, Landscape Management, LP Gas, Official Board Markets, PaperBoard Packaging, Pest Control, Pit & Quarry, Response, RNT, RSI (Roofing Siding Insulation), Sensors, Telecom Asia, Travel Agent, Home Media Retailing and Wireless Asia.
Its trade shows include Abilities Expo, AIIM Conference, Frontline Solutions Supply Chain Week, Home Entertainment Group, International Beauty Group, International Call Center Group, Luxury Travel Expo, On DEMAND Digital Printing & Publishing Expo, Sensors Expo & Conference and Telexpro International Expo.
