Mercury Print & Mail purchased New England Printing & Graphics in a move that quadruples its printing capacity, Mercury announced yesterday.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Following the completion of the sale, Mercury's print operations will operate under the name New England Printing & Graphics.
Peter Previdi, New England Printing & Graphics owner and CEO, will stay on as vice president of Mercury Print & Mail and head the combined print operation. A majority of the 32 employees at New England Printing & Graphics' Lincoln, RI, shop will be asked to remain.
Mercury Print & Mail, Pawtucket, RI, provides services in the Northeast to clients including the Bank of Newport, Rhode Island Hospital, The Big East Conference and the U.S. Sailing Association. It also serves national clients including Honeywell and Goya Foods.
