MBS Offers NCOA Processing Online

MBS, a database and interactive marketing solutions provider, yesterday launched NCOA Online, its solution enabling National Change of Address processing via the Internet.

The new NCOA Online's advantages over traditional NCOA processing include faster processing, according to MBS. With NCOA Online, mailers can turn around files of up to 5 million records in 24 hours. In addition, the online interface allows file transfers via file transfer protocol over a secure network connection, eliminating the need for physical exchange of media between sites.

Users of almost any skill level can set up a job quickly, and clients can save file setups for future use, MBS said. Once a file has been submitted for processing, clients can track the job's progress with real-time updates over the Web. NCOA Online is available 24 hours a day, so last-minute files can be submitted after hours for overnight processing.

MBS, Central Islip, NY, is a nonexclusive NCOA licensee of the U.S. Postal Service.

By helping to keep mailing information current, NCOA processing enables companies to stay in touch with customers, allows offers to reach their target more quickly by eliminating forwarding and safeguards the overall health of customer databases. NCOA processing also can help maximize postal discounts when a file is pre-sorted and is the most efficient way to meet the USPS' Move Update requirement for First-Class mailers.
