Marketshare Inc., a provider of DM and mail programs, has through its Big Boy subsidiary bought Innovative Media.
The acquired company provides large-format graphics including building, water tower, cityscape and vehicle wraps, billboards, sidewalk graphics, event signage and exhibit banners. Terms were not disclosed.
The buy moves Troy, MI-based Marketshare toward being a full-service ad solutions firm from concept, creative to fulfillment. This includes a new four-color printing division, point-of-purchase signage division and direct mail arm for solo, co-op and specialized lists.
The company recently opened an office in Minneapolis-St. Paul, exposing its direct savings book to 3 million homes each month. The first mailing goes out in April.
Marketshare's revenue for 2002 was $15 million, with projections of $24 million this year.
