LexisNexis Centralized Data With Siperian

LexisNexis, a provider of news, legal and business information services, deployed Siperian Master Reference Manager to create a central repository of its North American Legal Market unit's subscriber data, Siperian said yesterday.

Siperian, a customer data integration and management solutions provider, also noted that since its rollout, Siperian MRM has improved LexisNexis data reliability across systems by greatly reducing duplicate information and consolidating data. As a result, LexisNexis has enhanced support for marketing campaigns and increased revenue by avoiding missed sales opportunities.

Working with LexisNexis, Siperian implemented the solution in about eight months. Customer data was integrated from nine sources to create a customer master data store, which was synchronized across five systems in real time and batch mode.

A critical element proved to be the flexibility of Siperian's data model. Siperian MRM allowed a custom data model able to capture all the elements of contributing data sources. The design of the data model took less than four weeks to develop and was easier than identifying data in all the systems that needed to be integrated.

Siperian said the ongoing management of the common customer data was simplified and automated through the Siperian intuitive user interface. Data stewards now can handle data conflicts using a dedicated console.
