Kerbango Inc. has announced plans to release this spring the first stand-alone Internet radio. The radio will be priced at less than $300 and needs only a power outlet and standard Internet connection to function. Using RealPlayer G2 the radio can tune in any station broadcasting over the Internet used in conjunction with the Kerbango Tuning Service available at www.kerbango.com. The company is expected to unleash a slew of production and marketing partnerships through the site and appliance including deals with Internet broadcasters and content providers.
