JumpTap announced the launch of JumpTap Advertising Suite and a Mobile Search Index for mobile operators, to benefit mobile operators, advertisers and publishers.
The Mobile Search Index was designed to be used in conjunction with the advertising suite, which offers a full set of advertising methods, including pay-per-click, pay-per-call, banners and interstitials.
“JumpTap’s strategy is to help mobile operators and mobile advertisers profit from mobile search,” said Eric McCabe, JumpTap’s VP Marketing. “The company started with on-portal search and has moved to complement it with off-portal search (via the Mobile Search Index) and a mobile ad platform (the Advertising Suite).”
The suite drives new revenue streams for mobile operators and generates targeted leads and ROI for advertisers.
The Mobile Search Index allows subscribers to find off-portal content by retrieving the most relevant sites from the index, along with title, page snippet and URL.
JumpTap used spidering techniques, site submission, XML feeds and editorial control to create an index of searchable mobile sites.
The JumpTap Advertising Suite provides operators with mobile advertising revenue, through monetization of mobile searching and mobile browsing conducted by their subscribers. It offers a combination of performance-based and impression-based advertising options.
JumpTap’s Mobile Search Index allows off-portal and on-portal mobile properties to be found by natural searches, when subscribers are using the mobile operator’s branded search interface.
