ProspX is providing a SaaS system that includes CRM services, company-wide social networking and search engine technology. The ProspX system will also connect Lanier Upshaw’s employees to data and resources from Assurex Global — a worldwide consortium of insurance brokerage firms of which Lanier Upshaw is a member. Lanier Upshaw decided on ProspX after being introduced to the technology by a partner firm.
“Our mission was to find a CRM solution that could not only help us manage our sales contacts and opportunities, but could specifically address the collaborative, multi-party nature of our industry’s sales process,” said Ryan Deeds, VP and director of information technology at Lanier Upshaw, in a statement.
The social networking component of the ProspX platform helps users find relationships and resources inside their organization. The system also enables collaboration in real-time among partner firms.
“It’s critical for them to communicate with all members of the firm as well as with insurance carrier partners to benefit their clients,” said Todd Young, president and CEO of ProspX. “Commercial insurance is very complicated. There are so many different lines of coverage and so many industry-specific needs and so many different insurance carrier options for the client that, manually, it can be very challenging for an insurance agency or to make all the necessary phone calls or e-mails to collect data.”
