InPulse Provides Inbound Support for Vets Charity

InPulse Response Group is handling inbound teleservices support for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund donation drive promoted by conservative talk show host Sean Hannity, the company said yesterday.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The fund, created by former Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North, who gained fame for his role in the Iran-Contra scandal and later became a political candidate and conservative pundit, provides college scholarships to children of U.S. military service members killed or disabled in the line of duty.

InPulse, Phoenix, takes calls to the toll-free number set up for phone donations during the campaign, which began May 5 and generated $200,000 in donations within three days. Hannity assists the promotion of the campaign on his radio talk show and his Web site.

Also, amusement park Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, is donating part of the proceeds from a July 11 concert — the culmination of the fundraising campaign — held in honor of U.S. troops returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom.
