InPulse Goes Outbound for DRTV Follow Up

InPulse Response Group announced the start of an outbound telemarketing campaign yesterday to follow up inquiries about Armchair Electronics' TV Sharecam digital camera, a DRTV product.

Consumers who call in response to the TV Sharecam DRTV ad but decline to buy receive a follow-up call within 72 hours with a new offer customized for non-buyers based on research of their behavior. Consumers get calls only if they are not on a government do-not-call list.

TV Sharecam, which connects to a television and displays photographs on the screen, is available via the DRTV offer for $160. InPulse did not disclose details of the offer made to non-buyers via the outbound telemarketing, though it said it began the outbound campaign with the new offer because it found that non-buyers failed to purchase based on the added cost of the camera's carrying case.

InPulse, Phoenix, has provided inbound call support for TV Sharecam since the DRTV ad campaign for the product started in mid-June.
