Business analytics software provider Informatica Corp., Redwood City, CA, announced an alliance with D&B yesterday that it said would help Informatica Applications' customers incorporate D&B's global business information into their analytic applications.
Through the agreement, Informatica will integrate D&B's D-U-N-S Number and Customer Information Management Solutions into the Informatica Customer Relationship Analytics application. The D-U-N-S Number is a unique numeric identifier of business entities used to identify tens of millions of corporate parents, subsidiaries, headquarters and branches worldwide. D&B's Customer Information Management Solutions integrate information from a customer's internal systems and add data from the D&B global database.
