Infographic: The most overused words in press releases

Constructing a press release is quickly becoming the most boring job in PR, (you can read Alice Chan’s excellent post about digital alternatives to press releases here.) Yet, it doesn’t seem like people are going to stop doing it any time soon. 

So when you do, make sure you’re not using these words, because rest assured, everybody else is using them too. Shift Communications recently conducted a study of the 62,768 press releases issued on MarketWired in 2013, and came up with a list of the most overused terms in them.
