HotJobs Will Return to Super Bowl for Fifth Straight Year

Recruitment site HotJobs will run a 30-second commercial during ABC’s broadcast of Super Bowl XXXVII on Jan. 26, the Yahoo business unit announced yesterday.

The broadcast marks the fifth consecutive year that HotJobs will run an ad during Super Bowl coverage. Companies typically make hiring decisions in January, with consumers adopting new job resolutions at that time of year.

The company and rival Monster.com so far are the only Internet firms this time to sign up to run ads on the Super Bowl, an event watched by 130 million people nationwide. HotJobs did not disclose the price of the spot.

Brand Architecture International, a unit of Omnicom Group’s TBWA Worldwide agency, is handling the spot.
