Honda (UK) deployed the Aprimo Marketing Ad Builder & Publisher Web-based software, Honda (UK) said yesterday.
The system is being used by Honda's authorized auto and power equipment dealers and is integrated directly into Honda's marketing extranet.
The product lets the more than 300 Honda (UK) dealers generate and place press ads without the time and cost constraints associated with artwork adaptation, resizing, fulfillment and delivery, according to Aprimo Inc., Indianapolis.
The three-step process lets dealers log on to the marketing extranet, choose the Honda-approved ad template from an online library and select their target publications. The system completes the transaction, automatically customizing the ads with dealer contact details and resizing and retouching them for each publication. Print-ready artwork is automatically prepared and uploaded into an online clearing system for transmitting artwork to newspaper and publication titles in the United Kingdom.
