Online movie ticketing provider MovieTickets.com has partnered with The Hollywood Reporter publication to include film reviews on its Web site at www.movietickets.com.

The deal with MovieTickets.com will allow The Reporter to showcase select movie reviews from its site written by its own film critics. The partnership is significant, because it allows for The Reporter to expand its brand image and for movietickets.com to gain traffic from The Reporter’s site.

The Reporter’s site at www.thehollywoodreporter.com receives more than 1.1 million unique monthly users.

MovieTickets.com enables consumers to buy tickets online for movie screens across the United States, Canada and Britain.

VNU-owned Reporter’s other products include print editions published both daily and weekly; a daily e-mail edition; The Hollywood Reporter, Esq.; The Hollywood Reporter Europe; and Starz The Hollywood Reporter, a weekly half-hour television news program that focuses on the business of making movies.

The entertainment reviewer also has partnerships with both Reuters and IMDB, which help to disburse information from The Reporter to industry players and consumers alike.

MovieTickets.com is a joint venture between AMC Entertainment, Hollywood Media Corp., National Amusements, Famous Players, Marcus Theatres, Viacom and America Online.
