The Hertz Corp. yesterday announced a promotions campaign dubbed Last Minute Specials, which is based on biweekly car rental offers and designed to attract online consumers to its Web site.
The special rates are limited to select North American locations for weekly and weekend rentals. For example, the current specials include a $199 weekly rate for a sport utility vehicle at Los Angeles International Airport and $45 per weekend day for a minivan at Florida's Orlando International Airport.
Posted every two weeks in the Special Offers section of Hertz.com, viewers have two weeks from the date of the initial offer to book the deals.
Hertz, Park Ridge, NJ, has more than 6,000 car rental locations in over 140 countries.
