At a recent event in Taipei to celebrate its 140th anniversary, Heineken created a Time Travel Booth that tells the story of Heineken beer and its ingredients.
Using Leap Motion’s motion sensing technology, the giant interactive Heineken screen in the booth lets users virtually “touch” fields of wheat or travel through different destinations by waving their hands.

It’s a visually dazzling experience, even if the “time travel” element lacks a bit. It’s still a good example of using impressive technology to help market a very non-tech product.
Heineken is known for its creative marketing gimmicks, most recently it dared travelers to let Heineken send them to a random destination.
