Home Box Office has extended its partnership with TiVo Inc., an interactive television company, to offer HBO viewers TiVo’s Ipreview program.
Ipreview allows HBO subscribers to record scheduled programs directly from promotional previews on the network. Consumers can select programs to be featured on HBO through a menu, and TiVo digitally records the selected television programs. Programs are selected via a TiVo remote control.
HBO subscribers are now able to record upcoming movies, sporting events and original series programming directly off the network through the TiVo technology.
HBO reaches almost 36 million consumers via cable and satellite delivery.
