Havas Digital partners with Traffiq for media buying

Interactive group Havas Digital has partnered with online advertising network Traffiq. Under the terms of the partnership, Traffiq will be the main platform of choice for Havas Digital planners in Boston, New York and Chicago.

Havas Digital will use the Traffiq platform for online ad planning, buying, reporting, negotiation, campaign optimization and consolidated billing. In addition, media buyers and planners can use the interface to post RFPs, create vertical networks and connect with publisher storefronts.

“Our goal is to have Traffiq be adopted as the media buying console for Havas’ media planning and buyers for their direct-to-publisher buys,” said Mark Kahn, CEO of Traffiq. “The idea is to be the single point for them to find, negotiate, plan, distribute RFPs and build campaigns.”

This is the first partnership that Traffiq has forged with one of the major holding companies. Kahn said that it is also in talks with other major holding companies.

Kahn would not say which accounts would take advantage of the new partnership. Havas Digital clients include Sears, Dannon and O2, a UK-based mobile phone carrier.
