Gould Paper Corp. has completed the acquisition of the Western Canadian merchant operations of Cascades Resources from PamperlinXCanada Ltd.
The Canadian merchant operations will continue to be headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will still trade as Cascade Resources.
No management changes or significant operational changes will be made to Cascade Resources.
This acquisition is the second Gould has made in 30 days. In early October, the company acquired Southern Paper of Miami.
