Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of transaction services, credit services and marketing services, signed an agreement with private label credit card client Gordmans Inc. to provide the apparel and home fashions retailer with a gift card program.
The gift card program, a new Alliance Data offering, will provide Omaha-based Gordmans with gift card transaction processing, reporting, and customer service functions. It also allows Gordmans to offer flexible denominations, easy re-loading and the ability for Gordmans’ customers to use the card for in-store credit and returns.
Also, Gordmans' gift card program will be integrated with its existing private label program. This gives its customers the ability to use a variety of payment methods while providing Gordmans with sales and service opportunities.
For example, private label rewards can be fulfilled via gift cards and gift card promotions can be included within the private label cardholder welcome kit.
